What is Yoga?

Yoga means “yoke”, or to join, to unite. The practice of Yoga creates a union of the mind, body & spirit. Through the practice of asanas (postures), pranayama (breath control) and  meditation, we transform ourselves by  strengthening  and energizing our bodies, release stress by calming our minds and deepen the awareness within ourselves and the outer world.
